Romeo and Juliet-characters

So I guess this could theoretically belong to the "Books and Novels" category, but because I'm largely basing their designs on the 1968 Zefferelli movie portrayals (which are pretty awesome), I figure "Movies and TV" is a better place in which to put these sketches of the characters of Romeo and Juliet.

Here we have, from top to bottom, left to right, in order of importance, as titled: Juliet, Romeo, Mercutio, Tybalt, Benvolio and Rosaline. (I decided to exclude the older characters 'cause I ran out of room.) I made the mistake of drawing and eating at the same time, therefore Tybalt has a stain on his shoulder and Benvolio is horribly smudged. But anyway...this is my tribute to one of the best-written tragedies of all time, which I'm currently reading and love.

(And yes, I'm aware that they have no irises. )
